Cuisinart GR-SM Overstuffed Sandwich Maker, Brushed Stainless Steel
Product Description
Make thick, gourmet hot sandwiches for lunch or dinner all week long with this easy-to-use countertop appliance. The unit can cook up two sandwiches at a time, while its extra-large cooking plates offer deep pockets to accommodate not only four slices of bread, but also loads of cheese, meat, vegetables, herbs, and more. Layer the ingredients to create classic sandwiches or come up with all-new concoctions. The sandwich maker provides a simple temperature-control dial for setting the heat to low, medium, or high, plus helpful indicator lights--red for "on" and green for "ready to cook" and "ready to eat". Other highlights include a heavy-duty handle, brushed stainless-steel housing, non-marring rubber feet, and nonstick cooking plates with diagonal indentations for cutting the sandwiches in half. After the cooking plates have cooled, simply brush crumbs from the grooves and wipe down with a dry cloth or paper towel. The cooking plates can also be removed with a push of the button for easy cleaning by hand or in the dishwasher. For compact storage, the unit stands upright on its back end and offers secure cord storage and a special latch to keep the lid closed. A user manual with recipes comes included. The sandwich maker measures 11-3/5 by 9-1/4 by 4-7/10 inches and carries a three-year limited warranty. Product Description Fit more between the bread! The Griddler Overstuffed Sandwich Maker has extra large plates with extra deep pockets to make room for larger, thicker gourmet sandwiches. So pile in the pastrami or bring on the brie: it satisfies both refined and hearty appetites, and the variable temperature control achieves the perfect texture. Reader Reviews Ordered this on March 25, had it on the 27th. Wow-fast shipping. This is well made, heavier than other sandwich makers. The different heat settings are great, also the removable plates. The corn dogs stuck but they were the the first thing I made,I'm thinking I didn't get the plates oiled enough.Egss with bacon & cheese came out fine, so did the ham salad cheese wraps. This is going to stay out on the counter, I think I will be using it everyday. |
