Eastman Outdoors 13-Inch Cooking Gloves
Product Review
Lined throughout, these colorful gloves protect hands and forearms from heat, oil, steam, and smoking franks. And they're comfortable, with sheepskin lining for the back of the hand and soft fleece for the palm. You won't notice the stitching on them, either, because it's tidily inside out. A far cry from clumsy oven mitts, these gloves give your fingers full articulation for basting, flipping, or rotating grill items. Use them at a backyard cookout or for putting extra kindling on a fire at the campsite. These gloves feature the Eastman Outdoors logo in gray. --Emily Bedard Product Description The EastmanŽ 13-in cooking gloves boasts an all-leather, heavy-duty construction that's designed to protect from hot oil and steam. Reader Reviews Anyone who has either an outside grill or uses a woodstove to heat during the winter will find these gloves absolutely essential. I actually have several pair as we use them both at the house and also at the new summer cabin in northern New Hampshire. They are very well constructed and are quite durable. They have a heavy-duty leather exterior, but are very comfortable due to their soft synthetic lining. The pairs I have are royal blue, with light gray piping on them. They are extremely well insulated, which maximizes your protection from flame and soot, and they are specially designed for outdoor cooking. As I say, they are so well made I also use them for tending to my wood stoves. Enjoy! |
