Taylor Digital Double-Time Timer with Clock
Product Review
This discreet little digital clock/timer fits in the palm of a hand and gives users the choice of counting up or down in either minutes and seconds or hours and minutes. When the timer is not in use, the gadget operates as a digital clock, reporting the current time in hours and minutes. The LCD screen displays an easy-to-view 0.8-inch readout and the timer itself can mount to a magnetized surface, clip to clothing, or stand on a tabletop. The timer is simple to set and has easily-identifiable buttons for the clock, hours/minutes timer, and minutes/seconds timer. For longer counting tasks, such as all-day cooking of meat sauces or tracking intervals between taking medication, the hours/minutes timer counts up to 19 hours and 59 minutes. For meals with shorter cook times or timing at-home workouts, the minutes/seconds timer counts up to 99 minutes and 59 seconds. The timer emits a beeping noise when set time has elapsed, which is easily turned off by pressing the Start/Stop button on the instruments side. The Start/Stop button also pauses and resumes countdowns when pressed before countdown time is complete. The timer runs on a single AAA battery (included) and Taylor ensures complete accuracy in its readings through a one-year limited warranty. --Cristina Vaamonde Product Description * Easy to read * Counts up or down * Water resistant * Adjustable mode to display timer, stopwatch, or clock * Features double time, switchable hour minute or minute second timing * Clip magnet stand * Times up to 19 hours and 59 minutes or 99 minutes and 59 seconds * Includes one AAA battery (1081-3780) * White 006130 Reader Reviews I purchased to use in the classroom, however it beeps whenever you press a button. For example, to to set the timer for 10 minutes it beeps 11 times - once for each minute, and once when you press the start button. Very annoying, and no way to shut off the volume. This would be great in the kitchen! |
