Not too thrilled with the fryer - didn't seem to heat the oil and when we fried some chicken tenders they cooked so slowly that they were a greasy mess. Tried a few different amounts of chicken - even two tenders - with same results. We plan on trying again in case it was a human error.Haven't tested it as a crock pot yet.
