This size is perfect for a large sandwich, a slive of pizza or a cut-up apple & some cheese. (That's what we mainly use them for!) A dinner plate is too big and Fiesta's bread plate is too small for such things, but like the baby bear's things in the story of the Three Bears, this one is just right! Seriously, though, we use these every day and are delighted with them.
