These little bowls are used all the time at our house. They're great for casual entertaining; one little bowl for nuts, one for olives, one for some sort of spread. I also will put dip in one, then place in the center of a dinner plate & surround it with veggies. They're just nice and easy; a great addition to any collection! And like all fiestaware, very sturdy and has held up to a lot of use. As to the dye problem someone had; perhaps Amazon got a bad batch? I haven't had any problem.
